Celebrating 10 years at The Pearl RB! Today marks a decade since The St. Joe Company began managing The Pearl Hotel. In 2022, St. Joe proudly acquired the hotel. The Pearl Hotel, which has been named one of Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels, features an on-site restaurant and spa as well as a stretch of private beach along the Gulf of Mexico. 30A, often referred to as Scenic Highway 30A, is a picturesque and scenic road that stretches along the northwest coast of Florida's Gulf of Mexico. It's located in the Florida Panhandle and is known for its stunning natural beauty, charming beach towns, and laid-back coastal lifestyle. The "A" in 30A stands for "alternative," as it offers an alternative route to the more well-known U.S. Highway 98.

Scenic Highway 30A runs for about 28.5 miles (45.9 kilometers) through a series of small, distinctive communities, each with its own unique character and atmosphere. Some of the notable towns and communities along 30A include:

1. Grayton Beach: Known for its bohemian vibe, Grayton Beach is home to the historic Red Bar restaurant and offers a mix of art galleries, boutiques, and a relaxed beachfront atmosphere.

2. WaterColor: A planned community known for its New Urbanism design, WaterColor features upscale homes, a vibrant town center, bike paths, and a beautiful coastal dune lake.

3. Seaside: Often credited as one of the pioneers of New Urbanism, Seaside is a charming and iconic beach town with pastel-colored cottages, a bustling town square, and a focus on walkability and community.

4. Alys Beach: As mentioned earlier, Alys Beach is known for its distinctive Mediterranean architecture, upscale amenities, and luxurious lifestyle.

5. Rosemary Beach: Another New Urbanism community, Rosemary Beach boasts cobblestone streets, a town center with boutiques and eateries, and a stunning beachfront.

6. Seagrove Beach: A laid-back and family-friendly area, Seagrove Beach offers a mix of vacation rentals, cottages, and condos, along with easy access to the beach and outdoor activities.

7. Gulf Place: Known for its vibrant town center, Gulf Place offers dining, shopping, live music, and art galleries.

8. Blue Mountain Beach: Named after the blue lupine flowers that grow in the area, Blue Mountain Beach is known for its relaxed atmosphere and scenic beauty.

9. Inlet Beach: The easternmost community on 30A, Inlet Beach features a quieter vibe and easy access to Camp Helen State Park.
