Rocky Butte in Portland Oregon, on the 4th of July 2024! Rocky Butte is on a hill where there was a military academy there starting in 1901. The Academy is no longer there and currently an FAA flight aid Beacon is there, going back many years. Most of the year the road around it is closed to vehicles, however on the Fourth of July they allow vehicles up there. Lots of not so legal fireworks being shot up on this hill. Rocky Butte aircraft Beacon is part of the US Bureau of lighthouses . Rocky Butte is a 607 foot extinct volcanic cone second highest point in the city. The aircraft beacon was put in as part of the new deal in the 1930s. While no longer being used for navigation the beacon is still active. Nice night for fireworks, warm summer night in Portland visiting a friend and staying up here in the Northwest for several more days.

Passing through and will be back, one of my most favorite Sacred Spaces in the world Mount Shasta . Hoping in about two weeks or so, to have a more extended period here the first time in several years we did not spend the night on the mountain. This mountain has been special to me for over 50 years and beloved in fact, introduced to me through my beloved Don, who is now hopefully soaring high above Her!

Drove all day to the San Francisco Bay Area. Shot these pictures looking out at Mount Tamelpias in Berkeley at the Skates area for those of you, Bay Area people who know it. For others, especially my people in Europe, Mt Tamelpias is considered one of the Sacred Mountains of the Native Americans. And a power spot. I used to live up here and miss the magic of this incredible part of the world. Headed tomorrow to Mount Shasta.

Dock party! similar to a block party, in the local marina. Nice group of people in the local world that we live in. Put on by the guy that leads my Course in Miracles group. Live music , food, and boats ! Sitting in the sun, I love this time of year my favorite when the sun is so high!

Our last part of our trip was in a very Sacred part of the world. The mountain of Montsegur in Southern France is very special place with its ruins and tragic history . My friend Aletheia Sophia and her husband Pete own a wonderful piece of land and community/Hotel/Cafe called Les Contes. I have stayed there and we had a chance to drop in on our trip back to Spain and our drive through the Pyrenees. They are focused on creating Sacred Community. So nice to see each other again!

Ship inspection at the Port of Los Angeles on the Crown Princess yesterday. Even with my cast on I could not resist the invite by Princess Cruises to come aboard for much of the day. They even gave us time to sit in the sun and have an amazing meal! Princess has some really good deals that allows a relaxing and luxurious getaway. LA travel show today coming in as a Travel Advisor. Fun to see all the possibilities. Listening to Rick Steves focus on Europe and connection to local culture was inspiring since my next trip is to the Southern Mediterranean in May and going back to the Landouge/Pyrenees again ( my 4th time which makes me wonder what the spiritual force is that keeps on pulling me back ). This is the land Mary Magdalen is said to have walked and there is much of power spot enery there. Every year at the Winter Solstice there is a live feed of the sunrise at Stonehenge. This is the information depending on your time zone when it will be, and access. My experience last year driving from London to Glastonbury via Stonehenge was that there was an energetic shift once we reached the Salisbury plain where Stonehenge is, and from there, into the Sacred city of Glastonbury. I have had a similar experience moving toward Mt Shasta right after Redding California going north. Some Sacred places have such energetic connections and are obvious if one allows themselves to tune in. In my case it puts me into the magic of the mystical.

The Greenpeace Arctic Sunrise came into Long Beach Harbor and we were invited to tour the boat. Got educated on the fact that lots of oil wells are hazardous to humans, often the oil companies hide their locations which are close to people. We have lots of them in our area here, many unknown where. There are campaigns here in California to have the Governor stop them, which apparently he has power to do. While our Governor has already done a lot, which I am happy about, Greenpeace is asking him to do more.

They are then headed soon to Morro Bay to advocate for the Morro Rock to be included as part of the state park, the indigenous people of the area consider both Morro Bay and the Morro Rock as Sacred Spots. Fun and useful thing to do today in the Jewish spirit of “repairing the world “ in these “days of awe.”

This is what some researchers consider the “real Mt Sinai “ actually in Saudi Arabia. The places in these pictures are actually more in tune with Biblical history including as I will show a underwater bridge under the Red Sea. The Saudis have prohibited people from going there for some reason and theses pictures were done under cover. Looks like a amazing Sacred Space, unavailable to the world, there is a UTube video about it.

In October on Samhain (Halloween), we went to the Chacchoben "Lugar del maiz colorado" (place of the red corn) in the Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Mexico; followed a late lunch at the north end of Bacalar Lagoon. A wonderful connection to the Mayan culture.

We have traveled a bunch in the last days of 2021. This pic was taken in Zipolite Mexico in early November. Sunset that day was amazing and since we were there for almost 3 weeks we watched the sun move slowly across the sky ending in a totally different but equally spectacular sunsets!

Headed onto a short cruise to Baja today. Having just got back from 2 weeks in Sourthern Mexico on the beach and we are now taking advantage of a travel agent fam trip today. This is the second complementary cruise this fall the first much longer than this short 3 day trip. Next trip in the spring a Pilgrimage to the Middle East and Europe Sacred Spaces.
