In 2017, our expert maintenance team completed a full rebuild of de Havilland Beaver N188JG— crafting it not just to fly, but to endure. Every rivet, every bolt, every brush of paint was placed with precision and utmost care.

Some additional insights from Eric Ellison, Kenmore’s VP of Aircraft Maintenance as a true testament to the team’s craftmanship and exquisite attention to detail:

“Most Kenmore rebuild Beavers have a gray wrinkle on the instrument panel. We used a black wrinkle because that’s what the military used and we wanted it to be correct.”

“For a Kenmore touch, we add a pressure gauge so you have a constant readout on the hydraulic pressure system for the landing gear.”

“Given that the owner of this aircraft does a lot of charity work with the military, we put a static display of the original bomb release panel in the aircraft. Arming switches and bomb release switches…along with a mock bombing sound effect.”

We're excited to announce our continued growth and partnership with Puyallup Tribe of Indians as we expand our Tacoma scheduled flight service to Victoria, BC starting May 15th. The new route will provide quick and scenic access for South Sound residents and visitors to arrive in Victoria's Inner Harbour in less than 2 hours of travel time and visa versa for Canadian guests heading south to check out Tacoma and Emerald Queen Casino.

May 15th also marks the seasonal return of our Tacoma - San Juan Island scheduled service, now enabling access to all of seaplane destinations across the San Juan Islands from our Friday Harbor Marina hub.

Furthermore, we look forward to the return of our popular South Sound Scenic flight, also starting back up May 15th. Located adjacent to Woven Seafood & Chophouse , it's a perfect "Wings + Woven" afternoon adventure in Tacoma!
