We're back this week for spring quarter. I hope everyone had a fun break. This time we're experimenting with having members vote on the initial line up for the first day. After the first showing, we'll still vote on which one to drop and replace with a random show like usual. Like last quarter, our showing will be in PAA A110 at 6:00 PM tomorrow.

Hello everyone,

As mentioned last week, this week we will try to do the club meeting in person while streaming on Discord for anyone who's not there physically.

To celebrate coming back in person, this week we're doing a giveaway. This has been a tradition of ADP where you pay a small fee for something called premium ADP membership, which included entry into occasional raffles at club meetings. Premium ADP membership gave you access to thing like our manga library in the hub basement, but this year we aren't doing premium membership so anyone who comes in person can be entered to win. We'll allow everyone to enter their name in a drawing which could allow you to win some anime-themed prizes. The prizes could be things like anime blurays or merchandise. (If we can't get the club room this week, we'll do the giveaway next week.)

Hello everyone,

This is Jason, your ADP librarian. On behalf of all of the officers, welcome (back) to campus, and welcome to all potential, new, and returning members! I hope you had a great summer break.

First, a brief rundown of the Anime Discovery Project. There are three main types of events:

Showings: We have weekly showings every Friday at 18:00, and the first one will be tomorrow. Our goal in this club is to showcase a variety of somewhat lesser-known anime, as an opportunity to try out new things. We try to vary our lineup, and strive to have at least something that every member can enjoy. I'd like to emphasize that there's a place here for everyone, regardless of how much anime you've seen.

Oasis: Directly after most showings, some members will go to Oasis, a bubble tea café on the Ave, to hang out and chat about a variety of topics. This is a great opportunity to talk to other people in the anime community. I highly recommend you drop by at least once to check this out.

Other Events: Throughout the quarter, we'll have a variety of outside events going on, like food, karaoke, movies, and more. We'll notify members of these events via our weekly emails.

Our first showing of the quarter is tomorrow on Friday, 9/27, at 6:00 PM in PAA A110. We’ll show five different anime, after which all attendees may vote on which four to continue for the quarter. The show voted out will be replaced by a random slot, in which we show a new anime every week! Here’s Friday’s schedule:
