Here we go! This morning we kicked off our next trip through Baja with Nautilus Liveaboards and Baja Expeditions to experience the whale migration in the Sea of Cortez and San Ignacio! We did a snorkel and dive trip this morning from Cabo to get the trip started!

I have two spots available on this charter next year through Nautilus Liveaboards and Baja expeditions! Join us as we dive or snorkel with blue whales and spend time with grey whales on the pacific coast! There are only a few divers on this trip so you’ll enjoy an open ocean! Last weekend we were up diving in Vancouver island! Great visibility and great dives! Our last morning we even did a doubles orientation dive for people that were interested! Thermocline Diving was a great host and it was a memorable trip! Looking forward to our last two trips of the year this fall!

While traveling is fun and all it’s important to keep your skills up! This weekend we weren’t teaching so arranged some fun dives for past and present students. Dive masters and divemaster candidates lead dives and gave site briefings to divers that had never been to the sites. Sunday we had the fun challenge of current added into our briefing! Welcome to diving in the Pacific Northwest! One of our mentors even showed up for the fun Sunday!Great group and looking forward to our next group dive next month!

As we settled into our routine of eat sleep and dive, the diving just got better and better! Some marine life shots from our second day of diving!

For many, our first full day on the Roatan Aggressor was their first time diving in warm, tropical water. As we dropped in the view of Valley of The Kings took their breath away! Hopefully we made some tropical diving addicts from this trip!

The Aggressor crew did a wonderful job, lead by Captain Willie, in managing the windy week we had, keeping the boat from rocking too much and making sure we got in all of our dives!

Day 1 was at three different sites- with 5 dives! Including a night dive where one group found 4 octopus! Here are some pictures form our first day of diving!

On our second full day in Roatan our Thursday arrival group headed over to Daniel Johnson’s Monkey and Sloth Hangout for a morning of furry (and feathered) friends and smiles! Meanwhile our other crew slept in and enjoyed the view.

Just before noon the groups combined and all 16 of us headed out to the West End for some shopping, snacks, and sampling some tequila before boarding the Roatan Aggressor at 3:30.

Once back group leaders Annelise and Lisa snuck down to prep the boat for everyone’s arrival! We had some newly weds joining us so naturally wanted to make their room extra special!

Dinner was spent on board with an upper deck bbq celebrating one of our guests belated birthdays!
