I attended the Black Wallstreet Business Mixer + Chat at Byrd Barr Place last week; it was empowering and inspirational! I remember the day that I really began to believe in the power of what Wyking Garrett and the Africatown Community Land Trust were about to do! The day we painted the block (see the video in the link) was it for me.
