EYOS Expeditions Travel, expedition, and yacht management leaders specializing in bespoke expeditions to remote places
(11)

EYOS Expeditions has been designing private super-yacht expeditions since 2008, and today the company is widely recognized as the world leader in their industry. Each year, they operate over 50 expeditions in challenging, remote environments for the most prestigious yachts in the world, and their staff have cumulatively led over 1,200 safe Antarctic expeditions. In 2019, EYOS pioneered the first

ever “single cabin” departures whereby clients could book individual cabins on a yacht. They hold several ‘world’s firsts,’ and they are a two-time Guinness Book of World Record holder for the furthest south that any vessel has ever reached in history. In 2015, they were invited to be a design partner by Damen shipyards to develop the SeaXplorer expedition yacht and most recently, EYOS has managed and led the historic “Five Deeps” expedition, which includes plans for the deepest manned dive ever in history.

At this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, where some of the world’s most luxurious vessels gather under the glittering Monte Carlo sky, Pink Shadow made waves for all the right reasons. This yacht, part of the Xplorer series designed by Damen Yachting in collaboration with EYOS, was developed using decades of field-based knowledge to combine the luxury and security of a superyacht with the capabilities of an expedition vessel. Amid the opulence of superyachts designed for Mediterranean lounging, Pink Shadow stood apart with her striking green hull and bold profile. Link in bio for more.

The Geographic South Pole: perhaps the most iconic and exclusive prize for any traveler. The triumphs and tragedies of Antarctic explorers such as Amundsen, Scott and Shackleton still fascinate and inspire us to travel to the end of the Earth. History comes alive as we stand at 90° South and understand how the early explorers felt heading out across the frozen continent and into the unknown 100 years ago.

In the pristine waters of the high latitudes, humpback whales reveal an extraordinary spectacle—bubble net feeding. Imagine sailing through the wilds of Southeast Alaska or the icy waters of Antarctica when a spiral of bubbles emerges from the deep. Suddenly, the silence shatters as a group of humpbacks surges through the surface, mouths agape, trapping fish within their bubbling net. This isn’t mere chance—it’s a masterfully coordinated hunt, a rare glimpse into the complex intelligence and social bonds of these majestic creatures.

For many travelers, the idea of visiting Antarctica sparks thoughts of rough seas, long voyages, and unpredictable weather. But for those seeking adventure combined with luxury, flying has become the preferred way to experience the White Continent. So, can you fly to Antarctica? Absolutely. And with EYOS, it’s more than just a flight — it’s the start of a tailored, once-in-a-lifetime journey.

EYOS pioneered fly-in, fly-out private aircrafts to the Antarctic. If you would prefer to join your vessel once she is in the Antarctic to maximize time or to avoid the infamously rough Drake Passage crossing, we will arrange for you to fly south. Click the link in our bio to learn more!

Set off on a voyage through the fabled Northwest Passage, a legendary Arctic Sea route between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans along the north coast of the Americas. This labyrinth of channels weaves over 1,000 miles between the islands of Canada’s Arctic Archipelago and has been the five-century dream of explorers in search of a route to Asia. These waterways far north of the Arctic Circle remain blocked by sea-ice for much of the year, only opening for a short window during late summer.

The waters of the Northwest Passage are home to an abundance of Arctic wildlife: polar bear, walrus, narwhal, musk oxen, as well as enormous numbers of seabirds, whales and seals. Among the wild, rugged landscapes discover the culture of the Inuit and the history of European explorers.
