🌟 Exciting Milestone Alert! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that our first Airbus A321neo has successfully completed its maiden flight at Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport! 🚀

This crucial flight was conducted by a skilled crew of Airbus Test Pilots and Test Engineers, whose main objective was to test warning and alert systems, as well as perform checks that are not possible on the ground. The aircraft was flown from its lowest flyable speed to its maximum allowable speed, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.

This is just the beginning of many test flights before we officially welcome this cutting-edge aircraft into our fleet in the coming weeks.

The introduction of the A321neo marks a significant milestone in KLM's fleet renewal efforts, aligning with the sector plan of "Cleaner, Quieter, More Efficient." These new aircraft are considerably quieter than the current generation of planes and result in a 21% reduction in CO2 emissions per passenger-kilometer.

The last leg of our trip prior to getting to Florida was very late and our seats got shuffled around. Usually Maverick lays on the ground, due to the change of seats he was unable to fit and they allowed him to lay across his seats.

The entire plane was laughing and phones were all out as Maverick was intensely watching the flight attendant performing the safety speech. The flight attendant was laughing so hard, saying Maverick was his best passenger because he was actually listening! 🤣Best security🎉
