As you may know I adore Italy and I admire Italian men because they just don’t care what others think. I have seen many times before in my trips there the glorious sight of men wearing tight, bright red trousers with an extremely loud yellow shirt accompanied by sparkling Azure blue shoes. This chap would look absurd anywhere else in the world but in Italy they look………..well…………normal.

Ahh. Those long Italian family dinners and the arguments that end in hugs and kisses and not divorce. And the fact that it is considered rude not to drink wine at lunchtime.

That is one of the many examples of Italian Style and another of those will be Il Vaggio Restaurant on the Carnival Venezia. I mentioned yesterday that it was open for reservations and hundreds of you have booked already for which I say “grazie.” Here is the full menu and please let me know what you would have.

Carnival Cruise Line has begun testing a new charge for some guests eating at its popular ChiBang specialty restaurant on Mardi Gras. All guests still can eat at the venue for free at lunchtime or once for dinner. Though they now will incur an $8 per person surcharge if they return to eat dinner
