Aruba Airport is temporarily closed for approximately 3 hours due to technical issues with our air conditioning systems. This closure will affect both incoming and outgoing flights, resulting in possible deviations to alternate airports and/or delays.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and are working diligently to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We recommend that you stay in close contact with your airline for the most up-to-date information on your flight status.

PSA: Starting July 1st, 2024, Aruba will implement a $20 Sustainability Fee for visitors arriving by air to the island. This fee will support a number of projects aimed at enhancing and improving sustainability efforts on the island.

The following persons are not required to pay this fee: residents, children under 8, repeat visitors who have already paid this fee to visit Aruba within the same calendar year, Aruban students who can prove they are studying at a foreign educational institution, and have been residents within the past 8 years.

The sustainability fee will be charged through the online Embarkation & Disembarkation (ED) Card platform while one is completing the ED card to enter Aruba. The website is https://edcardaruba.aw/.

KLM Aruba Marathon

[TRAFFIC INFO RACE WEEKEND]
While the race is ongoing, local roads will be affected by the race and are subject to closure. Plan your route and take your time!
The start and finish is at the Parking space between the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and the Barceló Aruba hotel.
We advise the following roads to go to the following Hotels. KPA and the "Harley Davidson" Motor Team and our Volunteers control the safety of our participants and the road blocks. Roads are also blocked with barricades and Orange Tons. There are no other possibilities to go as described underneath. We apologize for the inconvenience
