Paige and Austin are from the St. Louis area. Their grand adventure around the state of Missouri brought them to Katy Depot Sedalia today. They are geocaching, currently working on a goal of finding every virtual geocache within the state. By way of attaining their goal, they will have had the opportunity to visit all of Missouri's 114 counties! With this trip they are working on the northwest part of Missouri, headed all the way up to Grant City, near the Iowa border.

Head to Sedalia this weekend (April 5-6), we've got some great events happening! Enjoy some fun and witty comedy at 5th Street Improv on Friday night at the Liberty Center Association for the Arts - the show starts at 7:30!

Saturday is the annual Home & Garden Show at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The show runs from 9-5. You can pick up some plants from SFCC Horticulture Club, find some new metal yard art, permanent jewelry, Avon, Scentsy and more. Door prize giveaways all day! At 9 AM, Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will be passing out seedlings (first come, first served), at 11 AM, MDC will be showcasing their furs. At 12:00, catch a Missouri River Bird Observatory presentation. At 1PM there will be a fruit tree care session with Missouri Arborist. And at 2 PM there will be a K9 Dog demonstration with Pettis County Sheriffs Department. You can also get your picture taken with Thorni Ridge Exotics animals and browse CASA's Art Exhibit upstairs...don't forget to vote on your favorite artwork! It's going to be a fun-filled day for the whole family with many things to do and see!

The Airstream RV group is staying in Sedalia this October for several days. They will move in on October 3rd and move out on the 12th.

This year Sedalia is hosting the 67th Annual Airstream Club International Rally October 5th-10th. There will be over 3,000 travelers coming to Sedalia!

So, with that said the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sedalia CVB are making a FREE Coupon Booklet just for the Airstream Travelers and we want your business to be a part of this!

If you would like to submit a coupon it is FREE of charge. It must be a 4x6 and the deadline is May 31st! You can also put in an ad for your business as well.

The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Theatre Arts program will present “The 39 Steps (Abridged)” at 7:30 pm Feb. 29 to March 2 and March 9, at 2 pm March 3 and 10, and 10 am on March 8.

“The 39 Steps” is a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater. This two-time Tony and Drama Desk award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, with dozens of zany characters racing across the British Isles.

Tickets are only $5 each and can be purchased at SFCCTheatre.Eventbrite.com or by calling the Box Office at (660) 530-5814 from 2-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Dinner theatre tickets for Saturday, March 2 cost $13 per person.
