Misbehaving in Jerome could land you in jail. That's bad enough, but when underground blasting sent the jail sliding down a hill...we're guessing it was pretty terrifying. Visit this unusual landmark and others on our day trip to the funky and fun town of Jerome.

Arizona is fortunate to have numerous locations that are perfect for viewing the night skies including Grand Canyon and Flagstaff. This month, local concierges learned about the Perseid Meteor Shower and upcoming Star Parties at Grand Canyon. Of course, there were also tasty treats including Mars and Luna Bars! ⭐🌠🔭

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” – Anthony Bourdain

Arizona is a diverse state ranging from low deserts to tall pine forests. That means you can find a great place to visit any time of year. During summer, our Grand Canyon tours visit elevations of 7,000 feet, so you'll escape the heat of the Sonoran desert of southern Arizona.

Visiting Antelope Canyon in summer means being prepared for sunny, warm or hot days. You can still enjoy this tour by following some helpful hints. First, dress to stay cool and protected from the sun. Wear a hat or cap, sunscreen, closed toe shoes like sneakers (not sandals) and light clothing. Drink plenty of water. Take it easy...don't overexert yourself. Our vehicles are air conditioned, so take advantage of the cool air in between stops. You'll have a great day!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grand Canyon with Grand Canyon Railway, June 2024

This is the perfect option for anyone looking to get the best views of the Grand Canyon with no stress. We wanted a way to get to the Grand Canyon from Sedona without the struggle of driving there, finding parking, figuring out the best views, etc. Our guide, Cat was absolutely excellent and provided interesting information about our surroundings throughout our whole day. We started in Sedona, picked up some groups in Flagstaff (the drive to Flagstaff is beautiful), and stopped in Williams where we got a good look at Route 66 and headed to the train from there. The train ride was a fun experience and offered snacks for purchase with fun musical entertainment. We stopped off at a cafeteria at the Grand Canyon for lunch, which had good food options for a great value. You’ll finish the day with great views of the canyon and drive back through the Navajo and Hopi reservations. A fun full day of activities!
