perty is on a secluded ridge right off the northeast edge of town on 7.5 acres. The home is less than a mile from its namesake Lake. Four seasons of mountain and lake adventures! Fishing, swimming, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, snowmobiling, hunting and sight-seeing are all here. Hundreds of miles of roads and trails call to you in the back-country. Relax at the home and enjoy the wildlife right on the property. (A small group of deer often hang out on the yard.) Or, come back after a day of adventure to enjoy an evening of solitude, a meal and quiet serenity in the hot tub outside. You will find the location of this home a very convenient, but secluded forest setting 1/4 mile from the edge of town. It is a hub of access to all your mountain and lake adventures.
Another 4th of July in Seeley Lake is still popping near midnight. Population 1600 and we had an incredible fireworks display at Lindey's Prime Steak House on the lake. Good people came from Missoula to Juneau to join the locals tonight. We are blessed to live here and to host a couple of families here at our Seeley Lake Montana Vacation home. God bless America!

There are only 65 pairs of the "Common" Loon in Montana. This one came out to make what I think is called a Tremolo-Wail. (I'm no expert.) He swam toward my kayak from his mate near shore to express his angst at me being in the area. I respected their presence and moved along. This pair is on Seeley Lake.

We've gotten some snow around Seeley Lake Montana Vacation. Got even more today. The report up on the mountain says 76" as of yesterday, which has been increasing steadily.

July and August is a special time of year at and around Our Seeley Lake Vacation Home. The huckleberry crop is good this year and can be found around the valley. Our back yard is a great place for our guests to hang out in the shade where the kids can play and adults can relax. Every day provides an opportunity to meet new friends!
It's that time of year. The does bring their fawns in the yard while they graze on our grass.
Morrell Falls: 30 minute drive to the trailhead from Seeley Lake Montana Vacation home. 2 1/2 mile hike to the falls. It's pretty big this time of year!
The snow was melting fast, but we got some more up high yesterday. Nice rain down in Seeley Lake. Green up will happen now and it's the best time of the year to see the waterfalls in the area!

Our fire risk mitigation project is in full swing on the property at Seeley Lake Montana Vacation home. The quick response clean-up crew is very dependable. Their union rules are strict, though. Non-union members are violently escorted off the job site!

01/02/2023 drone video of Fawn Creek staging area near Seeley Lake Montana Vacation. Drive north on Hwy 83 to Boy Scout Road. Turn right on Fawn Creek Road about a mile to the heliport/parking area at the trail head. The snow is good right now (1-12-2023). There are some areas of high risk for avalanches. Check conditions and educate yourselves before heading out.

With the heavy early snows, recent warm up, some rain and then more snow, they tell me there is a good base in the mountains and snow off and on is being added! Time for snowmobiling! This photo was taken from our short-term rental on the edge of the town of Seeley Lake.
Mars is sitting right next to the full moon tonight and it's all visible from the hot tub (which is available to guests year 'round)!

Taken a few days ago by some guests. More snow since then!
When tamarack (AKA larch) trees turn yellow at Seeley Lake, Montana, the contrast with the evergreens is dramatic. Especially with a lake and snow capped mountains framing the scenery.
If you hunt or fish around Seeley Lake, stay in one of our two vacation rental spaces this fall. The Bears Den sleeps 6 and is over 1400 square feet of comfort and relaxation in the evenings. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room and two big bedrooms with log beds: 2 queens and 2 twins. The Whitetail View has one bedroom with a log queen. There is a kitchenette equipped with microwave, double-burner, toaster oven and full size sink. Dining table for four. A cabinet bed in the sitting area opens up to be a very comfortable queen size bed. After a hard day of hunting, fishing or other recreation, have a good meal and relax in the hot tub within earshot of Morell Creek and a beautiful view of the The Seeley/Swan mountain range. For archers we have three big 4 X 4 targets set up. We can do minor tech work on bows with a bow press and bow vice available. If you're so inclined, Brenda is a massage therapist on-site that can work out the kinks that the day's adventures left you with.
