Extreme Low Tide

How low can you go?! Today’s low tide was -5.35 ft, with a 21.44 ft high tide earlier in the morning, making it a 26.79 foot difference between the high and the low.

There’s still time this season to take in the sunset views alongside the harbor at the Seldovia Boardwalk Hotel!

Seldovia is located in a region that experiences extreme low tides that occur when the moon is new or full. On days like this, large boats have to plan ahead if they are going to navigate in and out of the Seldovia Harbor. Pretty soon our harbor will be bustling with boats of all sizes. We hope to see you here!
