I spoke with Jennifer and her nephew Jahleer, from Cleveland, Ohio, about The Civil Rights era before I went on my all day tour with Susan and Susan! Jahleer said he wanted my Dad's book to read and share with his friends and family!

Susan and Susan from Sarasota, Florida toured Historic Selma, AL all day with me! ❤️

I just met with Craig Carson, Executive Director of The DuBois Integrity Academy - Riverdale, GA; Selma Mayor, James Perkins; Councilman Michael Johnson; Councilman Atkins Jemison and District Attorney Liaison Timfreit Drane to make preparations for a 400 student tour of Historic Selma, Alabama! It's a joint effort with the city and I will be the guest speaker and tour guide! ❤️

This group from Kansas City, Missouri stayed an extra day because they couldn't get enough of Selma's rich history! We toured until we couldn't tour any more! ❤️

I did a tour today with Dr. Abdul Wade, his sister Atty Linda Wade, and his 4 children! We toured Selma all day long! After the tour, the Wade family were guests on my radio program "The Cool Jazz Cafe" with Terry Chestnut. After the radio show, I took them to meet world renowned tin artist Charlie "Tin Man" Lucas! His studio is mind blowing! It was truly a special day for me!

Had the pleasure of touring a group of professors and graduate students from The University of Alabama! Mayor James Perkins, Jr - City of Selma spoke to the group as well! The University of Alabama sponsored a tour for a group from Pakistan along with graduate students. Thank you to Kerri Morthland and all involved at UA for connecting with me to make this happen! It was truly a wonderful experience and a great day in Selma, City! ❤️
