Coming soon, traffic pattern changes to the west end of the Hood Canal Bridge. From WSDOT:

Temporary changes coming to intersection of SR 104/SR 19 in Jefferson County starting May 20

Right in-right out allows for roundabout construction
PORT LUDLOW – Travelers should take note in an upcoming change at the intersection of State Route 104 and SR 19 (Beaver Valley Road).

Beginning Monday, May 20, the intersection will become right in, right out only.

Travelers who make left turns at this intersection will detour to Center Road.

SR 104 at Beaver Valley Road left turn restrictions
• Left turns will not be allowed.
• Right turns will be allowed.
• Travelers will detour use a temporary traffic signal at Center Road.

The left turn restrictions at the intersection will last until late July. There will be no left turn restrictions on Memorial Day.
There will also be one full closure of SR 19 at the intersection with SR 104 from 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 29. During this time, crews will remove temporary barrier.
The temporary changes will allow crews to continue work on a new roundabout.

While travelers will see a lot of roadwork around the Olympic Peninsula this summer, WSDOT has tools to help everyone get where they are going. Travelers can sign up for email updates for projects in Jefferson and Clallam counties.
