Spent the weekend at the cabin and as I was packing up today I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the simplicity of this magical home! It’s not the biggest, newest or fanciest mountain home but from the moment I walked through the front door this home embraced me and rocked my soul! It spoke to me and assured me we were a good fit. I felt God’s presence in the hand hewn logs, creaky floors and miss matched furniture. I knew the guests that we share our home with were going to be welcome and loved by the home. I knew, with confidence, this home would care for every beautiful soul that steps through the doors ♥️
A River Runs Through It is not just a cabin in the Smokey’s; it is Grandmas feather bed beckoning to the child in us that craves to be rocked just once more by someone who’s love is not dependent on performance but grounded in complete acceptance ♥️
