Life at any Rustic Luxury Property revolves purely around fresh, clean mountain air, remarkable views, and an expression of quintessential living that can only be found in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Married 34 years, four sons, two daughter-in-loves and two precious grand-babies (so far). We hail from Texas, originally, but have spent the past 26 years in B

owling Green Kentucky raising our family. We bleed Red, White and Blue, remove our hats and stand for the flag and we are faithful Christians. We respect all people, love all people and look to serve all people. Rustic Luxury Getaways is a long time dream of ours! Why Rustic Luxury Getaways chose Sevierville
"A River Runs Through it" is our flagship property located in the beautiful Cedar Falls Resort. Easy driving access to this property make it perfect for summer hikers and bikers, those that prefer to stay off of the steep climbing, very narrow mountain roads and those with larger vehicles. This is the home we stay in the most when checking on our Rustic Luxury Getaway Properties. Quick to town, less than 6 miles to the main drag in Pigeon Forge and we experience much less traffic off of Wears Valley Road than other locations. So, the convenience is a bonus for us. As Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg explode in popularity you will find many rental homes available. They have popped up like crazy over the last several years. Although there is nothing wrong with a cookie-cutter rental unit (they all have their place in this market) we wanted to offer our guests more and the custom elements you will find in "A River Runs Through It" are too vast to mention. "A River Runs Through It" is breathtaking in beauty (consider scheduling family pictures on the ornamental iron bridge in the front yard), fantastic location, 5 Star appointments, comfortable, spacious and, to us, the perfect home for family reunions, family vacations, summer or winter retreat, girls weekend, writer's round or any other number of getaways.

Spent the weekend at the cabin and as I was packing up today I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the simplicity of this magical home! It’s not the biggest, newest or fanciest mountain home but from the moment I walked through the front door this home embraced me and rocked my soul! It spoke to me and assured me we were a good fit. I felt God’s presence in the hand hewn logs, creaky floors and miss matched furniture. I knew the guests that we share our home with were going to be welcome and loved by the home.
