Did you know Mingo Falls, located near Cherokee, NC on the Qualla Boundary, stands at 120 feet tall, making it one of the tallest and most spectacular in the Southern Appalachians?! The hike to the waterfall is only 0.4 miles in length and rated moderate in difficulty.

If you are making a trip to the Smokies soon, consider exploring Mingo Falls, and other incredible sights on the North Carolina side of the park. During peak seasons, like summer, exploring different places in the Smokies can be a great way to escape from heavily congested areas and trails.
