🦅 Meet the majestic residents of Sanctuary Treehouse Resort: Sir Hatcher II and Lady Independence.🌲 These two eagles have a rich lineage in the Smokies and are often spotted perching in trees, gracefully fishing in nearby ponds, and even soaring low through our tree houses, creating unforgettable moments for our guests.🏞️🦅

👉🏼Fun fact: Originally lovingly known by our staff as Bert and Ernie, we reached out to the American Eagle Foundation, discovering that they have a remarkable history and are officially named Sir Hatcher II and Lady Independence. 🇺🇸 Their presence adds a touch of wild beauty to our sanctuary, making every visit a unique and awe-inspiring experience. 📸
