Aunt Lib’s was a proud sponsor of Sparta’s first ever D**k for Pink pickleball tournament supporting breast cancer survivors and the battles they have faced!

Pictured below is Aunt Lib’s owner Nancy Jones (right) and 2 time breast cancer survivor Brenda Scoggins (left). Brenda is a local Pickleball player and a beloved member of the community and Sparta Pickleball Association. This was a special day for all those who participated, but especially Brenda who also got to celebrate her 71st birthday on the 28th!

Congratulations to all those who participated in this event. We are so proud to be sponsors of such an incredible event and look forward to many more years of D**k for Pink!

We hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend!

We sure enjoyed our day by embracing the beauty that surrounds the cabin, especially with all the flowers coming into bloom! A nice drive through the mountains was a must as the weather was absolutely perfect. We even got a surprise visit from our bear neighbors!

A momma bear and her three babies were out for an afternoon stroll on Sunday when they came by the cabin to check things out. After a few minutes of sniffing and examining the contents of the back of our vehicle, they headed back down the road and went on their way without a peep.

This family of bears visits the cabin frequently and has often been spotted on camera. If you would like a chance to witness these magnificent creatures, then Aunt Lib’s Shine Shack is the perfect place!

It’s cabins and hiking and bears.. oh yes!!

The flowers are out and so are the bears! We’ve had a frequent visitor at the cabin lately who loves to stop by in the early morning hours. He’s enjoying the weather so y’all should be too!

Now is the perfect time to be booking at stay at Aunt Lib’s Shine Shack! Trust us, you won’t regret it.
