Our cabin, AlpenRose is intact without any major issues from Hurricane Helene. Thank you to past, present, and future guests for checking in with us. Our friends over in West TN and WNC are devastated. The loss is immeasurable. Appalachia and the areas around the Blue Ridge Mountains have been decimated. Roadways are still a mess and if anyone is traveling to stay with us, please check your state, NC and TN department of transportation’s socials and websites for lots of road closures and detours. Be safe.

It’s been a beary active year for the Smoky Mountains!

The natives have made their presence well known this year and it many ways it feels more so than years past.

We ask that all guests staying with us or traveling to GSMNP area to be mindful of our native residents and be safe!

New additions! We travel back to our cabin every 3-4 months and we love reading our guests stories and feedback in our guest book! We recently picked up a new guestbook and can’t wait to read them when we travel back!
