Winter Weather Update – 1/10/25 11:45 AM

Precipitation has started to fall across the area. Residents and visitors are strongly encouraged to avoid travel during this winter storm due to hazardous road conditions. If you must travel, please exercise extreme caution, especially in higher elevations and secondary roads. Drive slowly and allow extra travel time. If you encounter difficult driving conditions and cannot continue, safely pull over to the shoulder and away from the main roadway. Emergency personnel will place a brightly colored tag on checked vehicles to notify passing drivers. This allows emergency personnel to respond to calls.

The Severe Weather Plan for EMS Response has been activated at a Level 3 at this time. This level provides four-wheel drive support vehicles where needed to assist with ambulance calls for service.
