Did you know that we have two types of otters in our area? Sea otters live in the ocean and can usually be found floating and feeding on their backs. We also have sneaky river otters that live on land and spend time in both the ocean and fresh water. AT1’s or “Chugach Transients” made a lap through Resurrection Bay today! Unlike the resident orcas we’ve been seeing lately, transients hunt primarily marine mammals.
