I call the flamingo!

The Surfside neighborhood on the Icon of the Seas is so fun! What a great space for families…and those young at heart. The carousel is unique. With 3 places to eat, Sprinkles soft serve ice cream, a candy store and a bar for mom & dad that serves tasty non-alcoholic drinks as well, and entertainment throughout the day - families are kept busy all day right here in this neighborhood! Laken I and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Pier 7, the specialty restaurant in this neighborhood.

My cabin on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas was a standard Balcony Stateroom. I found it spacious enough with lots of storage. The bathroom had plenty of room and I truly enjoyed the balcony chairs with the footstool.

A big advantage to a new ship is all the usb ports!

Despite several downpours of rain, Laken and I enjoyed a tour of St Thomas yesterday. We made the most of it by playing in the Caribbean Sea in the rain. 🌧️ And took advantage of the sunshine when it was out!

Wonderful start to our Summit! I enjoyed learning from our suppliers like Sandals & Beaches Resorts, had a terrific lunch at Chops Grille, took a drop off the side of the ship and watched a terrific show!

The Icon of the Seas … incredible ship! We have three full days at sea and we won’t experience everything, I’m sure.

The Icon has 8 different neighborhoods! Today’s post…Central Park…it is simply lovely to walk through. Laken can’t wait to try the sushi window.

Boungiorno! We spent a lovely Sunday in Murano, Italy. After checking into our hotel we walked around the entire city and explored the shops and the beautiful Murano glass. Today we will explore Venice.

Mike and I have been planning our 35th wedding anniversary (actual anniversary is later this year) trip for almost 2 years! Being empty nesters, and not doing a fun countdown with the kids in years, the final count down seemed a bit…unexciting… So I made Mike a 30 day countdown chain. 😊 only one more night!
