Hello Rising Star families.
As a reminder,the gym will be closed this Friday to next Monday for Labor Day. No make up class will be needed.

Thank you to all the students who came on Saturday to practice for our Saint Benedict carnival routine. Our next carnival practice will be Saturday, September 7, from 9 to 11 AM.
Coach Debbie will be doing a back handspring clinic on Friday, September 6 at 5 o’clock before the skilled reinforcement session . Sign up for the clinic is in the waiting area. There are prerequisites for this clinic. Please be sure to check out the bottom of the sign-up sheet. $25/pp.
Our additional four and five year old class, as well as 6 to 8 year old class for Tuesdays starting n September are filling quickly. We want to welcome Coach and Elektra and Coach Hannah to the staff to help out.

Good morning Rising Star families. We are so excited to welcome Coach Elektra to the staff beginning in September. Coach Elektra was a prior team girl and has worked with me many years. She will be coaching Tuesdays and Thursdays. Due to this I can add additional classes to the schedule! If you have contacted us and we didn’t have a spot for August, please shoot us an email and we can get them in for September. More to come.

Rising Star Fmailies: we have been asked to perform at the St Benedict Carnival on Saturday October 5. Ages 6 and up are welcome to join us. We will have an extra practice this Saturday from 10-12. Current active members ages 6 and up! See you there.

Skill Reinforcement Sessions are Fridays 6-7:30. $15 active members only! See Coach Debbie for a pass - 1 free SRS when a pass is purchased. Extra time in the gym. No need to sigh up, just come ages 4 and up.

Wow! What a good start to the fall season! Thank you for patience in getting the new students started and tuition payments completed.
This Thursday is the start to our YOGA class. Coach Wayne will lead it from 7-8 PM. It’s a drop in class for the parents. Take advantage of the opportunity to do YOGA instead of waiting. Time for mom or dad. Yoga has great health benefits. It increases flexibility,calms you down with good breathing exercises for stress, etc.

Also it’s SRS (skill reinforcement sessions) this Friday from 6-7:30. It’s always a very popular time in the gym for an extra work out. It’s for members only that are in class. $15 for the 90 minutes. Passes are available- see one of the staff members about getting a pass.

We are still looking for an additional staff member. Don’t worry about knowing gymnastics we can teach that. If you love being around kids that’s a great first start. See me about it I’m in the gym Monday through Thursday from 4 to 8 PM and then of course with skill reinforcement on Friday from six to 7:30 PM.

Rising Star customers, we just received word, EPIC will be paying for tuition starting in August. Originally billing didn’t start till September so you would pay out of pocket the first month of class.! If you are an EPIC student, don’t forget to confirm your EPIC number with Coach Debbie for proper billing. Open House Saturday 1-3. We will have the blow ups out to play and icees!!!

Way to go girls and boys in Paris! WE are so proud of you and know the hard work it took you to get there!!!
Quick reminder, we will be in the gym this Thursday to replace the July 4 classes over the summer. Times are 4 to 8 PM. Our open house is Saturday from one to 3 PM. Classes are filling as we speak. We have a potential Saturday timeframe. if you can, let me know your thoughts on Saturday classes. We traditionally don’t do them due to lack of enrollment but with the Olympics we may have to. Hello Rising Star friends and families. Our session is down to one more class this Thursday. As a reminder, our open house will be Saturday, August 3 from 1 to 3 PM. We are taking registration currently and please know classes are getting filled quickly. As always classes are on a first come first serve basis. Coach Debbie will be available on Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the gym if you’d like to come in and complete the paperwork and register. our fall session starts August 5 and will continue to December 20. This is an exciting time for us, don’t forget to watch the Olympics.😁🤸🏼 keep practicing!

Happy Sunday to our Rising Star families. Tomorrow starts our second and final camp week. Four and five-year-olds will go from 9 to 11 AM and six and older students are from nine to noon. It’s Monday through Friday.
Tomorrow we begin registration for our fall session starting August 5 ! I will be getting with all the current students to see which classes they want for the fall. If you’re not with us now and want to be a student, you’ll need to come into the gym and pick up a registration packet with all the information including the registration papers. I’m still looking for another coach, so our classes are going to fill very quickly. As usual classes are on a first come first serve basis. If you are a July student have not paid your tuition please be sure it’s paid by July 25! We want to close this session out. For Thursday students remember your last day is August 1 because we were off July 4 for the holiday. Our open house will be August 3 from 1 to 3 PM. Join us to see the gym, meet the staff,and get a snowcone!

Hello Rising Star families and friends,
Next week is a busy week here at Rising Star. On Monday at 9 AM we start our second and final summer camp for the summer of 2024. We have only two more openings left. One in the four and five year old class and the other in six and up class. Boys and girls welcome ages 4 to 16.Monday July 15 also begins our sign up for the fall session which starts on Monday, August 5.
On Saturday, August 20 I’ll be having an uneven bars clinic at 9 AM. The sign-up sheet is on the wall in the waiting room.

The Olympics is coming soon! Be sure to mark your calendar for gymnastics .

Good morning Rising Star families and friends! We have a lot going on at the gym, so get out your calendar! Coach Debbie will be doing a uneven bar clinic on Saturday 20th at 9 AM. The sign-up sheet, requirements, and skills we will be working, are on the wall in the waiting room.
NEW CLASS -this one is for the moms and dads. The fall schedule will include a yoga 🧘class on Thursdays at 7 PM! It’s a great time for moms or dads to work out while the kids are in the main gym.
I would like to welcome Coach Wayne to the staff starting in the fall. Coach Wayne was a prior gymnast. He also has training in martial arts and yoga, and will be teaching the class.
Just a reminder the gym will be closed tomorrow July 4 for the holiday and the make up class for the students will be August 1.
Registration and our Annual Open House to see the gym and meet the coaches is on August 3. 1-3 PM.

Wow! July is here. Our last week of the summer session is July 22-25. Just a reminder, the gym will be closed Thursday for the holiday. The replacement class for those students is August 1.
Gym calendar: July 15-19 our last camp for the summer! We still have a few openings left. Ages 4 and up boys and girls.
July 15, we start registration for the August to December session. HELP! We are still looking for a recreational coach. It’s a fun team of coaches to work with. Hours start at 4 and no later than 8PM.
August 3 our annual open house! 1-3 PM come see the gym, meet the staff, have a snow cone!
August 5 we begin the fall session.
Homeschoolers: classes are Wednesday mornings. We are an EPIC vendor. See me about more info.

A couple reminders, this Saturday June 29 at 9AM is our back handspring clinic. Students must be at least 6 yrs old to participate.
Our next camp week is July 15-19. Signup with Coach Debbie. We have room for a few more 4/5 yr olds. Monday through Friday that week. The students will perform on Friday for their parents.
August 3 from 1-3 will be signups for the fall session beginning August 5. Classes fill fast.

Rising Star friends: Next week is our first summer camp for 2024! Monday through Friday mornings, ages 4 and up. It’s a great way to try out gymnastics and have something to do for the summer! We are in the gym Monday-Thursday 4-8 PM. Give us a call or email.

We are so proud of our Midwest regional AAU competitors. This weekend we traveled to St. Louis. Ella and Charlene are all Americans for their level getting the highest scores in their level, all age groups! Sadie placed first on Beam, Taryn placed first on bars, and Kalila place first all around Level 4. We are so proud of them. We wish them the best of luck next t year.

Hello Rising Star friends and families. Just a reminder, our summer session begins on Monday, June 3. Tell your friends, it’s going to be a fun summer. Don’t forget the Olympics this year in July. Lots of great gymnasts representing the United States.

Rising Star families,

What a week! The Olympics are finally here. The students have practiced their routines and ready to perform. Students should be in their regular class time. The only change is the 6:30 intermediate class on Tuesday. They should be in at 6:00 this week.
We have seating in the gym ready. When you come in, the booster club will be selling flowers for the regional championships at the end of the month in St. Louis. You will then be able to head into the gym and find a seat. Students will put their clothes under your seat just like at Christmas.
After this week, the gym will then close and reopen for the 2-month summer session on June 3. Please let us know asap if your gymnast will be attending classes or camps this summer. We already have classes filled!

We are leaving it up to the parents to decide whether they want to make the trip to the gym or not.
