On our 8th day of hiking the Appalachian Trail, we enjoyed a tour of Gettysburg, Pa. Naturally that evening, we created our own KC Chiefs party in the lobby and cheered the Chiefs onto victory

The second day of our 14-day hike found us in New Hampshire where the Appalachian Trail took us thru Dartmouth College in Hanover. It was a rainy day.

Just returned from a walking adventure with Walking Adventures International where I hiked 110 miles on the Appalachian Trail in 14 states. We started in Maine and finished in Georgia. Here are a few pictures from Maine.

Posting a few pictures from a recent trip to Tuscany, Italy. Stayed in La Dogna at a wonderful Olive Oil estate. Visited a few towns to enjoy the town, churches, scenery, picnics and food.

On our 7-day Seine river cruise, we stopped in Vernon, France where we visited Chateau De Bizy, where we had an interactive tour of the palace.

Recently returned from a trip to Asheville, NC where we visited the Biltmore and Blue Ridge Parkway to take in the fall colors.
