April tree riding baby 🤟🏻 You’re thinkin about days on the lake and flip flops, I’m thinking about why I didn’t go faster on these lines. Got another solid month of snowmobiling left my friends. Go and get it!

Snow report for the northern Bighorns. The most we probed this year was 145cm (57 inches) last week at 9,400ft. This video is at 8,900ft and was 110cm (43 inches). A few hundred feet makes a huge difference. Last week was the best week we had. Warm temps and wind changed the snow a lot. Back to looking for it but it’s still out there! Reminder, April is the snowiest month in the Bighorns is my favorite time of year to ride. I’ve seen 72 inches of snow fall in May before.
Which line are you taking? A or B? Or do you stay as far away from the trees as you can? 🤣 Our extra sugary snow sure does make getting traction incredibly difficult this year. Only those that have experienced it first hand truly know!
How does 200hp on a 146” 2.5” lug Ski-Doo Freeride look in deep, bottomless, sugar snow? Have a look for yourself! This Ibexx LLC tuned and clutched sled is shockingly capable in deep snow. We got it for spring snow but it has shown that it can hang. Only thing I regret not doing in this video is comparing it to a naturally aspirated 154” with a 3” lug. As for the loud can, that’s a personal preference. We still prefer quieter cans, but for a mod sled we don’t drive everyday, it’s manageable. 😂
Guide and instructor Anna Zowada finding freshies for the Wisconsin boys! Every once in awhile, in a blue moon, clients give us first dibs on a meadow. But it’s usually always the other way around! So much fun was had this weekend!
The last three days with the boys from Virginia have been an absolute blast. I was shocked by how well they could ride being from a state that doesn’t have backcountry snowmobiling. These last couple storms have finally made it feel like winter. It’s been a saving grace. I was nervous for these boys a few weeks ago considering this is their first time in the Bighorns. Their previous trips have been in Revelstoke, Colorado, Utah, and Togwotee. When the Bighorns have snow, they truly can be pretty epic 🤟🏻
New Vlog dropping this Tuesday! If you haven’t subscribed to our YouTube channel yet, you’re missing out! This time, we added 20 more horsepower with an @ibexx_llc stage 2 kit to our 146” @skidoo turbo freeride. This sled is an absolute unit 🤟🏻

Guide @anthony.kluesner finding some fun in the Bighorns over the weekend! Letting that @polarissnow 9R eat!! It’s still spotty out there, but we can find ya some good stuff. Great time to learn or scratch the itch if you don’t have snow at home. Special thanks to @nickgaeu for letting Tony rip this thing!!
Bighorns Update: 2/17/24
Things are looking up now in the Bighorns. The last couple of storms have helped. It’s still spotty and you have to go aways from the lodges before finding rideable snow. It’s amazing the difference in snow depth at 8000ft vs 9000ft. Here’s guide @anthony.kluesner with a snow report from yesterdays guided trip.
Don’t give up. There’s still time for winter to be great. April is one of my favorites months to ride, especially on bad snow years. March and April is historically the two snowiest months of the season in the Bighorns. All these clips are from the last week of April two seasons ago! If I didn’t get hurt last year, I would have more. Book a trip in April. I promise it’s better than December and January.
