Fries, French Fries, Chips, Pommes Frites, or Frog Sticks? While in Belgium, we tried a few different fries along with the dipping sauces (another thing that differs by regions in the world). Our favorite fry was from . They served up fries with a perfectly crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. It was a happy dance moment for my tastebuds. We dipped them in The Chefs ketchup and The Famous Classic sauce. We washed them down with a nice .

Many claim that the fry comes from Belgium. So why call them “French” Fries?. According to an article in National Geographic, in the winter villagers along the River Meuse fried potatoes. American soldiers discovered this delicacy in WWI and named them “French” fries because the dominant language of Southern Belgium was French.

Fry chefs in the Belgium /Netherlands region have spent generations mastering the perfect fry. Things to consider are: the potato used, the oil, the temperature of the oil, and how many times you fry it and freezing the fries before the second fry.

We are known as Arizona I, II, III and soon to be IV.

On my first trip to Rome we wandered into a Bistrot right next to the Pantheon. Serendipity struck that night. That night I made a friend for life. Cinzia Di Rienzo and others in her family have become our Italian family. We would never stay anywhere else. We eat a good portion of our meals at the Bistrot when in Roma. We love the family and staff. It is my “no worry, life is great, La Dolce Vita” place. Also they make THE BEST CARBONARA in Roma. Trust me I’ve tried a lot.

They call my family Arizona and our friends Arizona II, their parents Arizona III and soon to be Arizona IV with more friends arriving. We have and continue to send family, friends and clients their way.

Hello Race Fans! Yesterday was the 107th running of the Indy 500 "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing". We had the good fortune to attend Indy 500 in 2016 in Indianapolis. That was the year of the 100th running and the miraculous finish by Alexander Rossi (R) who made his last lap around the track on fumes to win. The yellow tape on the back of our shirts is us earning our stripes. A tradition of our friends for newbies attending their first race. It was an amazing time and a check off the Living Life List.
