On July 24th, we will be saying goodbye to the old Genie+
AND
Hello to the New and improved Lightning Lane Passes!
(I'm internally screaming over here because it reminds me so much of how the old Fast Passes were)

This will allow guest staying at a Walt Disney World resort to book up to 3 Genie+ selections in advance each day! That means no more waking up at 7am on each day of your vacation to score your first attraction! Whoop, Whoop!

If you are going to Disney World during this time and aren’t going to the party, it is still good to know the dates because Magic Kingdom will be closing early on those days. (And is yet another reason it’s great to have Park Hopper tickets - MK crowd levels are lower on party days, so you can go there during the day then hop to another park in the evening!)
