While there, we…

🤿 snorkeled the Molokini Crater
(and there was a jelly fish incident 🥺)

🛶 explored for turtles in an outrigger canoe (we definitely tipped over!🫣)

🚁 did a helicopter tour of Haleakalā volcano and the Road to Hana
(My sister gets car sick so the Hana drive was NOT an option!)

⛰️ explored the north west part of the island via ATV
(pictured above—fyi July is dry season, hence the dust instead of mud 😂)

🐷 attended the Old Lāhainā Lūáu

Hawaii is a super popular bucket-list family vacation, and I can promise you, it’s worth the hype!!

That time in Vegas when I decided to go sky diving 😎✈️

10/10 would recommend sky diving somewhere with a view—I saw the Hoover Dam and a bit of the Grand Canyon 🤩

1. When works best for you?
2. Weather considerations: Hurricane or rainy seasons
3. Price and availability “seasons”: high $$$, low $, or shoulder $$

This is an adorable photo, but to be honest, I wouldn’t repeat (or recommend) the experience.

Backstory: I was in port for a cruise and last minute we decided to do a city tour and all-inclusive beach afternoon.

This might be a controversial opinion, but here are some truths about large group tours/excursions on a cruise…

1️⃣ there are going to be a LOT of people (because of this it felt like we were being herded everywhere)
2️⃣ things are slowwww to happen because of all the people—you will be waiting around a lot!
3️⃣ it feels very commercial and touristy

Obviously, after this experience I learned big group tours aren’t for me!! 🤪
