The company was founded by the Johnson family in 1928 and operated as a family owned business for three generations. In 1977, Jesse Parrish and Lester Terrell purchased Johnson-Burks, continuing its founding tradition of providing customers with quality products and service at the best value. This philosophy has provided us with very loyal and satisfied regular customers for many years. From its beginning over 80 years ago in Sherman, Texas, Johnson-Burks has expanded to three locations in northeast Texas: Sherman, Denison, and Paris. We’ve added new buildings, trucks and computer technology to our operations, making us even more capable and efficient in what we do.
