mmertime, a boat ride on the river to look at the fall foliage, or a walk through the snow-covered hemlocks, the Wright Retreat has something for every season. The Wright Retreat cottage is located on an 18.5-acre tract of forest land on the Shippenville side of the Clarion River, however, it is less than 10 minutes from downtown Clarion, Clarion University, Walmart, and Clarion Oaks Golf Course. The National Park Service North Country Hiking Trail is also less than a 5 minute drive from the Cottage, as is Interstate 80. The Cottage is also a perfect place for small parties and events, such as weddings, bridal showers, family reunions, and the like.
