We bought a new sleeper sofa for the villa today. I’ll leave it a mystery for now, BUT I promise this unit will be even more beautiful than ever! 🫶☀️❤️🐢

These nine units will have an abatement cleaning and are on target for white box construction to start next week. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

TODAY is the day that the asbestos company will start abatement. It was a long process with a lot of back and forth, but our Board was able to get the cost cut, which caused a delay. Ya win some ya lose some.

My unit has asbestos, but they found out after they already cut the walls out. So, my unit is one of 9 that will have a special cleaning and testing and then ready for Reno on 12/2. We have a little over 20 units that should be starting renovations on December 2nd. (The above 9, plus some that do not have asbestos) Starting then, things are supposed to move very quickly! My fingers and toes are crossed for a Jan opening!

Casa Blanca is getting ready for Christmas!

It won’t be in perfect shape, but a lot will be done by then and it will be beautiful.

Looking forward to enjoying more days like this! The area is improving on a daily basis. Hopefully our unit will be finished in 4-5 weeks. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼Until. Then, we shall reminice!

Shopping around in prep for our reno! Our villa will be better than ever, so grab some dates while you can!

Our workers are removing water heaters to prep for the next phase. We have a variety of phases of work and the contractors have to bounce amongst them.

1. Units with no asbestos (remediated and getting prepped for new drywall, electrical, plumbing etc.
2. Units with asbestos that have had the drywall removed (9 priority)…waiting for a final clean, test and green light for next phase.
3. Units needing asbestos abatement, 4-5 weeks & then next phase.
4. Units just now having furniture removed or moved for abatement or white box prep

*white box supppsed to last approx 4-5 weeks
*finishing time different for each unit depending upon damage (villas closest to beach sustained worst damage)
*finishing contractors individually hired so time frame to complete will vary
*apartments receiving demo to first floor units only
*fingers crossed we have approx 20 units ready by Jan 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
*paperwork process is the big holdup thus far
*those who haven’t seen the area will not fully understand the damage and work being done daily
