I spent this weekend learning and growing at our Sojourney Collective. We heard from many suppliers and one another. We also got to celebrate one another in achieving goals and receiving awards. I was grateful to be able to receive some of these for my work in 2023. I appreciate all of my clients past, present, and future. I'm also very grateful to Sojourney Travel for all of their support. I'm sure you can guess my favorite award.

Last week I had a work conference in Desert Springs, CA. It was a beautiful (and hot!) area to visit. I especially enjoyed my trip to Joshua Tree National Park. There are so many beautiful places to visit and I'm glad I was able to see this part of our country.

Yesterday we bid farewell to Bariloche. It was such a beautiful place and the food was wonderful. Here are some pictures from around the resort and visiting islands nearby. Even though there was snow, the colors were absolutely beautiful. It is fall here and early for snow in the season but glad I got to experience it.

What a beautiful day in Bariloche, located in northern Patagonia. We woke up to a double rainbow. The views from the Lloa Lloa Resort are amazing! We explored the area and saw amazing views of the Andes Mountains. We also got to visit a family-owned beer factory. I love that Kensington Tours supports locally owned places.

I had a delayed start, but was able to join my Kensington Tours group for dinner on my first day in Buenos Aires. We ate at Fogon for a 9-course dinner, with seven of them containing meat. Argentina is well known for its beef and it delivers!

This past weekend my husband and I went to Blue Ridge for a couple of days (our Christmas gift to each other!). We had such a great time, even if we had to leave early due to incoming winter weather back home in TN. ❄

In my day job I work with municipalities and I have a strong love of downtowns. I love the history of what was and the beauty of how they are being reimagined for today and the future.
