Fort Ticonderoga is only minutes from the cabin, and includes a lovely drive and hike to Mt Defiance with admission.
We had a lovely stay and the fort was very accomidating to my mother and her accessible needs. The hike itself is only 2-3 minutes on a paved, but steep road. Vermont in the background, lake Champlain and the fort featured!

Just a 5 to 10 minute hike from behind the cabin is this beautiful falls and stream! One of the many pure, cold aquafiers that feeds the lake (and supplies the cabins water! Always conserve water when you can!)
