We may have gotten some rain but our trails are holding up and dogs and people are having a great time.

Beautiful hoarfrost in the trees this morning. Dogs are off for Christmas eve and Christmas so the family went down the road to the Gegoka ski trails. This gem of a trail system is a great opportunity to extend your stay and ski.

Fall training continues on some snow.

As we work with the dog teams into December, we are doing so on snow, but it's just not quite enough to get on the sleds. We are close to being able to run on sleds, and just four more inches will do it.

The sled dogs love pulling on the snow and enjoy getting to “dip” snow for a drink anytime they want one. They are now running 14 miles and will be ready to do the dogsledding day trip length of 20-28 miles soon.

We hope to see you this winter.

We still have snow! We have had to move to a trail east of here but it is a lot of fun to be on other trails.
