Halftone Booking is a company set to change the way that smaller bands think of touring. Started by Zach Dresher and Wes Good of Wings Denied, Halftone Booking aims to provide bands without heavy touring experience or popularity the ability to get on the road, and spread their music to more people, through individually booked, one-time tours. Our services are as follows:
1. We plan, route, and bo
ok all aspects of a band's first tour, from securing venues and financial deals, to finding free or cheap places for bands to stay, every night. Tours range from 1-4 weeks. We currently book at over 50 venues, primarily on the East Coast and Midwest.
2. We are partnered exclusively with a merchandise company, which allows us and bands working with us to receive exclusive deals on soft printed merchandise!
3. We have a community of regionally-located graphic designers, and professional photographers, who can be contracted out for professional work, at fair rates. These individuals are listed on our website, with examples of their work.
4. We are exclusively an independently contracting company, meaning there is no official Halftone Booking roster! All our tours are booked on an individual basis, and there is no obligation for long-term commitment by anyone. Our goal is not to be like other booking agencies and create a roster of selected groups. Instead, our focus is on bringing the talented bands that don't have the means, network, or ability to book their own successful DIY tours. We have that network, and the DIY experience to make it happen for you! We are open to submissions from any band, though a brief list of the criteria we look for is available on our website. Please understand that booking a tour requires significant advance notice, and we request a minimum of three months between the first contact, and the start of the tour to create the best experience for you!
