Rock Pirates has quickly grown to be the premier off-road vehicle operator in Southern Colorado, serving both families and adventurers on rides throughout the scenic San Juan mountains. Based in Silverton, Colo., one of the highest alpine communities in the U.S., Rock Pirates offers the chance to experience some of the most breathtaking views in Colorado while riding top-of-the-line Polaris RZR side-by-sides. Two-seat and four-seat options are available for rentals or guided half-day or full-day tours through the famous Alpine Loop. With over 150 miles of trails to choose from, riders of all levels are welcome to explore sites such as the Animas Forks, Old Hundred Mine, Continental Divide, Kite Lake, Hurricane Pass, Stony Pass, Kendall Mountain and more. From beginner to advanced terrain, riders will enjoy some of Colorado’s most well-known mountain passes, panoramic views of wildlife and alpine wildflowers as well as historic mining camps. Have a specific destination in mind? Let our knowledgeable staff customize the perfect ride for you, whether that’s a hidden fishing spot, a mountain pass or a specific view. Rock Pirates provides top gear and safety features to ensure the best off-road adventure possible, including GPS tracking units and instruction from our well-trained staff. Riders will also enjoy storage compartments for riding gear, maps, picnic lunches and selfie sticks to capture the ultimate memory.
