First full day in Cali has been a BLAST!! We started the morning with a breakfast buffet at Goofy’s Kitchen inside the beautiful Disneyland Hotel!
There was so much food to choose from if you have children I highly recommend this character dinning experience! We had Mickey waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, made to order omelettes and so so much more! Goofy and friends came around to greet us, dance and take photos throughout the dining experience!

When we were full we got in our Jeep for the day (we used Turo to rent). We drove about 45mins north to Santa Monica Pier and did some sightseeing, roller coaster riding and we even got to dip our toes in the Pacific Ocean!

We ended the day with a bit of shopping and resting in the hotel! We have a busy busy day tomorrow at Disneyland and Oogie Boogie Bash at DCA (Disney’s California Adventure).

We have already started out strong in Cali!! We strolled around the streets of Anaheim and found some cool shopping areas, found really awesome artists and their art walls, ate a ton of food and just had fun!!

I can’t wait for tomorrow visiting Santa Monica pier after breakfast at Goofys Kitchen!

Do you know when is the best time to go to a Disney park?
Right now for the rest of 2022 the best times for a Disney visit are:
August 15- Sept 30th, November 8-10, November 15-18 and December 5-9. Those are the lowest crowd days right now for a super smooth visit! 😍
I have been in November before and it was incredible!!!!! They have the Christmas decor up already, the temperatures are down and its not as crowded as summertime.

I personally prefer November as one of the best times to go to Disney!!!

Packing your park bag the right way is very important! You don’t want to have too much stuff that you won’t end up using or too little where your having to buy things in the parks where the price is super high.
If you’d like a recommendation on bags as well just let me know, I can do a video of my favorite park bags! 😍😍

What is the best day to wake up on a Disney vacation? I think the best way to wake up would have to be a call from Mickey or Stitch! As a Disney Resort guest you can schedule Wake-up calls from Mickey or Stitch every morning of your vacation!! That is the best way to wake up on vacation and really get the magic started before you even get to the parks!

Festival of Fantasy is the daytime parade in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.

Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade debuted almost a decade ago as part of the New Fantasyland expansion of Magic Kingdom that also added Be Our Guest Restaurant, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.

It’s amazing the memories you make on a Disney trip!
While in line for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure we met this lovely family from Portugal. Our kids and their kids were about the same age and they played together for over an hr in line. Their kids taught our kids some Portuguese and we showed them where we lived on a map! It was such a cool experience!
We then got on the ride and went about the rest of our day separately and when it was time for the fireworks and water show (Harmonious) we got a great spot over near the Mexico pavilion. We were there about an hr early, to get a good spot and sit down somewhere for a snack.
We stood outside through a huge downpour what felt almost like a hurricane with terrible rain and wind (in our little crappy ponchos), we danced in the rain and waited for Harmonious to begin and once the rain had stopped anyone that got a spot inside some of the stores came out and grabbed their spot.
Crazy enough with thousands of people there we ended up sitting right beside our new friends from Portugal and all the kiddos got to play again and tell each other about how their day had gone so far!! It was so magical and such a fun memory that our kids and myself will never forget!!! It was so special!

Did you know there while in Epcot at Walt Disney World you may be able to enjoy one of their many festivals?

They have festivals all throughout the year! While we were at Disney in May they had the International Flower and Garden Festival going on! My oldest loved going around and finding all of the awesome topiaries designed as different Disney characters!!

This is a list of current and future festivals at Epcot, if you see a festival you might like to attend let me know and we can get your trip scheduled around those dates! 😍
