Employees from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota location of Dakota Fluid Power, and their co-workers at the Dakota Fluid Power OEM facility, once again all rolled up their sleeves and got down to business for an Employee Blood Drive on July 1st.

Here, Austin Semmler and Evan Rivard proudly display armbands indicating they gave at the office.

Over a dozen employees donated their own fluid that will power other people in the form of life-giving blood at the time when they need it most. Just another example of Singer Industrial companies making a positive impact in our local communities.

Singer Industrial Names Haberbosch As President, Holder New COO

June 18, 2024 (Dallas, Texas) Today, Singer Industrial announced the appointment of a new company president.

Pete Haberbosch, formerly Vice President of Business Development/Mergers & Acquisitions, was promoted to the position of president.

Haberbosch is a 30-year veteran in the industrial field, with 10 of those years being at Singer Industrial. He managed several field business units before being promoted to Vice President of Business Development/Mergers & Acquisitions, where he managed Singer Industrial’s acquisition outreach.

In addition, Chris Holder, formerly Vice President Of Operational Excellence, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Holder has 28 years of industrial business experience, with eight of those years working for Singer Industrial, serving in multiple operational roles. He was Director of Operations at Lewis-Goetz prior to joining Singer Industrial.

“Our leaders have many years of experience, and a track record of accomplishment that has made them well-known and respected in our industry,” said Chairman Don Fritzinger. “Pete’s dedication to our core values, success in supporting our field operations, along with his leadership skills and industry background make him the perfect choice as Singer Industrial’s next president.”

Moving forward, Haberbosch and Holder will work closely with Sam Petillo, President of the Rubber Products Division, and Scott Wojciak, President of the Fluid Power Division, as the commercial leaders of their respective business units. The remainder of the leadership team includes CHRO Natalie Curtis, CMO Rebecca Gummerson, and CFO Charlie Brown.

Today is National Fluid Power Professionals Day. So, in keeping with tradition, Dakota Fluid Power held their yearly photo contest. Outstanding photos were entered from across the Dakota Fluid Power family—and they all showed just how awesome fluid power professionals can be. But there can be only one winner, and that was Cheryl Perrault of Rapid City. So, the Dakota Fluid Power’s Rapid City branch wins a catered lunch for all the employees there. You said it all the countless times he was there for you when you really needed him. With strength, advice, and understanding. The Internal Open House for Dakota Fluid Power’s new OEM manufacturing facility featured pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, ice cream, and—most importantly—36,000 square feet of state-of-the art manufacturing facility. All there for members of the company waiting to get a first peek. With 19,000 square feet of warehouse and 9,000 square feet of climate-controlled production area, Ryan Jorgenson of DFP says, “We have room to grow our production efforts and warehouse the needed parts to go along with it.” Production Manager Mitch Elbers concurs, “The new building will open up new opportunities with the added capacity and empower us to look further out into the future.” And that’s certainly worth a look for all employees.
