Meet Vanessa Bourne...

I started my career as a corporate travel assistant and took a break from that after the pandemic affected the company that I was working for. I can understand basic Spanish and some Tagalog. I've never been outside of the country, but on my bucket list are the Philippines, Sicily and Fiji. Stateside my favorite destination is North Carolina.

Meet Julie Peterson...

Julie is a retired Finance and Human Resources Executive who is not ready for a rocking chair. Her career often had her travelling nearly 100,000 miles per year and she always managed to work-in side trips and tours as a part (sometimes the best part) of her business trips. When she saw a part time job as a bookkeeper in a travel agency in the want ads, she knew it was a perfect fit. Julie has been working at All About Travel for nearly two years and truly enjoys her work and coworkers. When she’s not working or traveling, Julie is an avid sustainable gardener and foodie, so she grows and preserves most of what her family eats. When she isn’t working, traveling, or cooking, she enjoys time with her husband of nearly 5 decades working on prairie restoration, sustainable land use, and native species projects on their homestead in SE South Dakota. Julie can also speak a little bit of German and Spanish and is fluent in Google Translator.
