We discovered the Egg Harbor Fun Park yesterday, and it is AWESOME! The kids can’t wait to go back!
So many things to do inside and out from mini-golf and Go-Carts, to Gem Mining and Batting Cages, to an excellent indoor arcade that would be great option for squirrelly kids even on rainy days, plus a Cafe with large menu and Cedar Crest ice cream!

Highly recommend you check them out on your Door County vacation!

Mark and Tami, the owners, have done a great job making it a high-quality super fun place for families to have fun together. 💕🍦⛳️🥤🏎️

This is so helpful for vacationers who have been experiencing this rainy weather!
My kids would add going to the arcade at The Mink River Basin,
And the tours of the buildings at the Ephraim Historical Foundation are wonderful and can spend at least half a day there!

The wonderful people over at DENN- Door County made this FAMILY TO DO LIST for rainy days in Door County (not food/live music related)! What else would you add?

I’d start with play family fun games with your family at The Gnoshery

The Washington Island Mosling Recreation Center

ARCADE at Elmos Woodfired Pizza on 4th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.

Stone Harbor Resort indoor pool, Thirsty Thursday Trivia and BINGO on Tuesdays!

Any of our wonderful public libraries in Door County.

When you arrive at The Beach Road Cottage and walk in our front entry, you are welcomed with a gift basket full of helpful Door County vacation guides and local brochures.
But even better, each basket contains two packs of delicious , chocolate covered cherries AND cherry juice drink from , and a box of Anna’s Swedish Cookies, to give you a head start on the local and Scandinavian atmosphere while on your vacation!

The most important part of the weekend 🇺🇸
The Sister Bay Memorial Day Service is just the best event in Northern Door. It’s my most favorite event of all - yep, better than Fall Fest!
It was held at First Baptist because of the rain, and it was just awesome as always.
And Dale Seaquist played Taps for the 78th year in a row! 🎺

Hello Fam! It’s Memorial Day Weekend! The unofficial Official Kickoff to the Season. The back yard here at the Beach Road Cottage is all ready for you and your family and friends! We have a great fire pit with chairs, and tons of yard games in our shed for you to use in this beautiful green sanctuary all to yourselves! And we never use pesticides or herbicides on our lawn so it is safe for pollinators, and your children to run barefoot all summer long!

WHOOO, Child! This project is FINALLY done! The Beach Road Cottage had a complete makeover of her Main Bathroom this winter, and we are SO happy with it. It is such a relief! We had worked hard to make it as nice as possible for our guests until we could get the full renovation, but now that it is all finished it feels so much better, and bigger, and luxurious! And now instead of being a little embarrassed of it, we can’t wait to show it off for our new guests, and hear what our returning guests think of the upgrade!
