We don't get much time off in the summer, so we took full advantage of this one! Some of the crew from Klondike Bikes went to Haines and rented some e-bikes from our friends at ! We had a great ride out to Chilkoot Lake!

Today is Brother's Day...so it seems like the perfect day to introduce you to Uncle Mikey!

Michael is my older brother...and one of our newest employees at Klondike Bikes!!! We are so thankful to have him up here to help us this summer! He brings the energy!!!

We want to introduce you to some VIP’s and share our inspiration behind our latest tour – Klondike Bike & Beer.

Meet George – He is one of the founders of Klondike Electric Bicycles.  His vision for the company was to provide an environmentally friendly way for people to explore Skagway.  He strived to make Skagway everyone’s favorite port…because he loved this place!

Now swipe left…this is Joel.  Joel is one of the founders of Klondike Brewing Company.  Joel came to Skagway to brew beer!  He was driven by the desire to provide quality, consistency, and drinkability to locals and guests, alike.  The beers at Klondike Brewery focus on the Northern Way of Life.

In 2023, both of these families faced the unthinkable.  We lost George and Joel to cancer.   The whole last year was a blur, but one thing was certain…we must continue the legacy of these amazing men!

During this difficult time for both families, the Fran Delisle Cancer Foundation stepped up to provide support to help with the high cost of travel and treatment. 

It is only fitting that as we partner to create the Klondike Bike and Beer Tour, we also honor and give back in memory of George and Joel.  $10 from every Klondike Bike and Beer tour sold in 2024 will be donated to the Fran Delisle Cancer Fund.  It is our hope that we can help future families of Skagway who may face a similar diagnosis. 

This 3-hour tour will be offered daily at 11:30 am.  It can be booked online or by contacting us at 907-983-2453.

Our family is soaking up the sun and relaxing a bit in Hawaii! But I am feeling a bit home sick. Thankful that .lmt sent me this picture of our cute little shop!

Skagway had its first snow the other day...and the crazy thing is that ships are still scheduled to visit next week 😳

For now, we will continue to soak up the sun! But soon it will be time to cozy in at home for a bit!
