To our local friends and family. Poppaw's Place is planning a great night for Halloween night. We will be set up in the parking lot with hotdogs, drinks, candy and a beautiful Fall background for you take pictures of your little ones or family photos. We plan to be set up from 5pm to 7pm. We will post more details as it gets closer.

We had a cancellation for the weekend of October 25 & 26. If you're looking to ride and enjoy the beautiful Fall scenery in Eastern KY give us a call. The leaves are starting to turn so it should be really nice by then. Poppaw's Place sleeps 7, fully furnished with bed linens, towels, cookware, dishes, Blackstone grill, WiFi, plenty of parking.

Last week Vince, Emery and I was blessed to spend a week in TX with our family and friends. We celebrated Vince’s 60th birthday and his Mom’s 81st birthday. We spent time with our precious Grandchildren and met our newest Granddaughter Azaria. Spent special time with family and friends that are like family.

Anyone looking to ride and enjoy Fall in our beautiful Eastern KY mountains and looking for a place to stay. We sleep 7, full kitchen with cookware, dishes, fully stocked coffee bar. All bed linens, towels, 70 inch tv, Roku, WiFi, plenty of parking, Blackstone grill, fire pit. We’re booked every weekend in October and first weekend November but available all other weekends in November.

We have been working on a little project to track where our guests travel from. We have a map of US hanging in Poppaw’s Place and little markers that our guests can mark where they are from. I added markers to represent guests we have had over the past year as best I could. We love meeting our guests and making new friends. So far we have had guests from all over Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Florida, Illinois. We have guests coming over the next few weeks from South Carolina and North Carolina and this week a group traveling from St Louis area so we can add more soon.
