Smith Mountain Lake is the largest, cleanest, fresh water lake east of the Mississippi. Over a half a thousand miles of pristine shoreline to explore. It’s home to ESPN’s Bass Masters Elite, and the fifty pound + stripers, two major motion picture films, Wakeboard Nationals, The Great Triathlon, The Great Chili Cook-off, and countless other activities.
Because of the regions temperate climate, Smith Mountain Lake has now become one of the all time favorite spots for people relocating from all over the united states, especially from California and the northern and southern most parts of the United States Atlantic seaboard.
