Join us for the first SIP and Shop of 2024. This year we are collaborating with the Smithville,TX Downtown Business Alliance.

SIP AND SHOP will be held the 1st Thursday of each month beginning May 2, 2024 from 5-8PM.

Join us downtown and other businesses within the downtown historic district that will be participating for this event.

The Chamber will be selling $39 wristbands which will include a souvenir wine glass and an opportunity to sample some local wines, and breweries (more information to come), in addition you will be able to stroll through the different businesses that will have their own sampling of food and drinks. You'll also enjoy specials from participating businesses and the opportunity to shop other local vendors that will be participating and setup along Main Street.

While originally built in 1937, the The Gresham House is a beautifully remodeled home balancing modern comfort with the essence of our quaint town. During the Smithville Jamboree weekend, be sure to head to Main Street for the Houston Slingshot Riders Car Show on Saturday, April 6th around 10AM.

The Houston Slingshot Riders will start to arrive by 10AM and line up throughout Downtown Main Street. There will also be vendors and music playing at the gazebo area.

All vendors will be set up in the Gazebo area on the grassy and covered pavilion, bring a lawn chair listen to music, explore the Slingshots, shop downtown and then get ready for the Jamboree Parade (Parade starts at 1:30PM).

The Houston Slingshot Riders will join the Smithville Jamboree Parade and will start lining up around 1:00PM.
