Potential Tropical Cyclone Four Information. Impacts may occur as early as Tuesday or Wednesday. Our first briefing is emphasizing that heavy rain, flooding and rip currents are the main threats as of now. In addition, our impacts may last a few days especially if the potential storm slows down or even stalls near our area.

Do NOT let your guard down based on an intensity forecast of a Tropical Storm. Check back for updates as this may change AND, regardless of storm intensity, heavy rain is possible.

It is summer and time for......SEA TURTLES! Come visit us! Our July hours are Monday - Friday 12 PM - 4 PM, Saturdays 11 AM -3 PM & Sundays 11 AM - 2 PM. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED!! Please purchase your tickets at least two weeks in advance! In the summer months we sell out every day!

The Town is preparing, and staff has trainings scheduled throughout this month that focus on damage assessment, training with our debris management contractors to train on disaster management and operations, FEMA updates/policy changes, as well as operational challenges and emerging trends.

We're excited to announce that we are partnering again with Onslow County Emergency Services and the US National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC to host a Hurricane Community Forum here at Town Hall. We will be announcing a date soon!
