Desert Oasis Chesapeakes/Kennels My husband and I got into breeding Chesapeakes just after we were married in March of 2013. We breed Okay! I have to be honest here, I never wanted a Chessie!

I know it's hard to believe, but I had heard enough RUMORS about them as well as personal experience to try and talk Nathan out of getting a Chessie! (For those of you who didn't know Max originally belonged to my brother in law Nathan.) I had my dad's experience with his Chessie lashing out at my pregnant mother, and a Chessie I had met at my work, who I was informed would often snap at his owner

for seemingly no reason. And living with a dozen nieces and nephews I didn't see how a Chessie would fit into the family. Though I did stop persisting and actually found a breeder just to have a puppy around. BOY was I ever wrong! A Chesapeake raised with the right surroundings is an AMAZING family dog. Max really has a one of a kind attitude and Kyra does as well. But be aware these are NOT first time dog owner dogs! Nor are they a great dog to be left alone at a farm! THEY NEED TO BE SOCIALIZED!! I now have two Chessies! I love this breed and I want to share them with EVERYONE!! Look for our first litter in 2016! All of our dogs will be health tested.

Ms. Dixie came back to me after not being a compatible mix with her family.

We have assessed and tested her and feel she is ready for the next chapter of her life.

She is spayed, she is UTD on vaccines.
She doesn't like female dogs, she would do best in a male dog home. She ignores the other dogs unless they push her. She does good with the cats and livestock. Adores the kids and loves to play and retrieve. She is a Zelda/ghost puppy.

You lived a crazy life! You were never really my dog, but you started it all. The kennel we have today started with a Chesapeake that proved me wrong. That you can be a Chesapeake and a sweet dog. You taught me a lot and you lived your best life on the farm and even got to experience Mexico.

Bonnie had 4 babies on March 15. They are doing amazing. On female maybe looking. Pm me. :)
Her litter theme is compass directions but fantasy themes.
Zephyrus, Meridian, Lysandra, and Noctis.

Zelda had her babies on the 27th. She has girls llooking.
They are themed after Destiny 2 and Cayde is making it hard for me to NOT keep a male I can't use in my kennel...
