The Kenai Chapter of Trout Unlimited is excited to announce our tool loan program for rod building & fly tying.

Fly tying & rod building are traditionally high barrier to entry hobbies. After seeing how much the kids enjoyed creating rods and flies of their own at our annual Youth Fly-Fishing Camp, KPTU is excited to loan these tools out to former campers and families of current Trout Unlimited members.

Those interested may sign up for all the tools necessary to build their own rod or tie their own flies (hooks, feathers, glue, rod blank, ect. not included).

Join the Kenai Peninsula Chapter of Trout Unlimited for their annual fundraiser the International Fly Fishing Film Fest, and silent auction. This year it is again being held at Main Street Tap and Grill in Kenai. October 14. Doors open at 5pm, films start at 5:30pm. Food will be available and Two-Timing Trout Ale from Kenai River Brewing. Fall is right around the corner and that means our annual International Fly Fishing Film Festival fundraiser is also right around the corner, October 14th to be exact! We are excited to see you all again this year for a fun night of fishy films and our silent auction, but in the mean time we are excited to announce that we will also be hosting a raffle with some great prizes.

The raffle tickets will be drawn at the event on Oct. 14th, but from now until then you can buy tickets at Main Street Tap and Grill in Kenai or DM us to link up with one of our members to claim your tickets!

All proceeds go to our KPTU chapter so we can continue hosting the events you all love like our Tie One On, Youth Fly Fishing Camp, and Rod building program for Casting for Recovery! We’ve been up to a lot this past year and we are excited to share with you all that we have been up to.
