Taking advantage of the weather day to stock back up on nessecities. The recent bite In the ocean the last few days has been all about casting swim shads to cover more water while drifting through the scattered schools of these fish. Taking advantage of the @simradyachting sidescan sonar has been critical to success while doing this. In this instance im Using @tsunamitackle shads rigged on @zmanfishingproducts jigheads. When they stack up good underneath that's when the @nicholsluresinc spoons really produce as well. For rods and reels the @oceantackle inshore series rods both the lighter and heavier models will do. Paired with a 4k or 5k @pennfishing battle reel. Guys here's a howto video on rigging for flounder. You'll need 20lb @fishseaguar fluorocarbon. 3/0 @gamakatsu.usa octopus hook. And a 1oz (backbay) or 2oz (wreck reef) tear drop @magictail_outfitters bucktail. Or any other comparable jighead or bucktail.
